History

KEIIN International Institute is one of the fast growing institutions of higher education in Kyrgyzstan, established in 2012 with the College Preparatory Program certified by the Ministry of Education and Science in Kyrgyzstan.

KEI-IN, () in Chinese character, was named by the Institute’s founder, Dr. Paul K. Synn with a vision of “opening the dawn” for the country and Central Asia by providing quality education to future young leaders in the country and region beyond.

2009 – Purchased buildings in Ivanovka, Kyrgyzstan, which became the Main campus.
2012 – General Education Program (GEP) in English launched.
2013 – Business Administration Program launched.
2015 – 3-year College license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science, Kyrgyzstan: Business Management, Computer Science (IT), and Tourism.
2015 – Signed an MOU with University of Missouri, USA.
2016 – Enhanced High School Program for 10-11th grade launched.
2017 – (April 11) The 4-year university license (License Number: LD170000214) issued by the Ministry of Education and Science, Kyrgyzstan: Business Management, Computer Science (IT), and Foreign Language. 
2017 – (May 13) Signed an MOU with KookMin University, Seoul, Korea.
2017 – (December) Signed at MOU with Incheon National University, Korea. 
2017 – (December) Signed at MOU with Kosin University, Korea.
2017 – (December) Signed at MOU with Shinhan National University, Korea.
2018 – (September) Construction of new dormitory was completed and Keiin students moved in.
2018 – (September) Four-year Bachelor’s Degree Program launched.

The KEIIN Shield

Following the vision of the founder and president, Dr. Paul K. Synn, the KEIIN shield, which serves as Keiin’s official logo, was designed based on the Chinese characters, 啓–寅, signifying rays of hope, joy, and optimism. It includes mountains, fields, and young people of Kyrgyzstan.
